Who I am
About Myriam
I first started practicing yoga 10 years ago while working in the humanitarian field. At the time, it was simply one of the most accessible ways for me to move wherever work took me. Over the years, however, yoga became an essential part of my life, a way to move and care for my body, but also to breathe, slow down, and disconnect from the intensity of humanitarian work.
During my last years in the field, practicing privately with an inspiring teacher changed the way I understood yoga. Through Yin, prop-supported practice, more advanced asana, sound, and other approaches, I began to discover how much can be explored when practice is supported by thoughtful guidance.
At a time when I was also reconsidering my humanitarian career, I decided to deepen my practice through teacher training. Each training expanded my understanding of yoga beyond the physical practice and eventually led me to teaching.
Today, I bring together my yoga training and my background in psychology and working closely with people to create a safe, welcoming space where students can explore yoga at their own pace, whether they are stepping onto a mat for the first time or looking to deepen an existing practice.
Training & Qualifications
My teaching is informed by extensive training across different yoga traditions and complementary practices, including:
- 500-hour Multi-Style Yoga Teacher Training — Mysore, India
- 500-hour Ashtanga Yoga Teacher Training — Lebanon
- Yin Yoga Teacher Training — Mysore, India
- Advanced Sound Healing Certifications — Lebanon and Mysore, India

How we practise
My Approach
I believe yoga meets us where we are. Our bodies, energy, and needs are different, and they can also change from one day to another.
My teaching combines movement, breath, stillness and awareness, drawing primarily from Hatha and Yin yoga. Classes can be strong and dynamic or slower and grounding, depending on the practice and its intention.
I teach in small groups so I can give students individual attention. I use variations and props when useful, allowing each person to explore a pose, respecting and challenging their limitations.
Yoga, for me, is an opportunity to understand oneself through the body and mind by developing strength and mobility, breathing, slowing down, exploring, and reconnecting.
No previous yoga experience or flexibility is required.
What's offered
Classes
Small-group classes and one-to-one sessions in Batroun, and online sessions wherever you are.
Hatha Yoga
A balanced physical practice combining movement, strength, mobility, flexibility, and breath.
Classes explore yoga postures with time to understand alignment, movement, and different variations through the sequence. Hatha class includes a flow while also maintaining certain holds and breathing through poses. This makes it good physically for stability, strength, and mobility. It also supports well-being by grounding and focusing on breath and awareness. Props may be used to support the practice and help you explore poses according to your individual needs and experience.
Suitable for beginners as well as students with an existing practice.
Yin Yoga
A slower, quieter practice in which mostly floor-based poses are held for longer periods, allowing time for the body to settle and for attention to turn inward.
Classes combine longer holds, stillness, and breath to support mobility, relaxation, and body awareness, offering space to slow down from the pace of everyday life.
No previous yoga experience is needed.
Private Yoga
One-to-one sessions designed around your individual practice, experience and objectives.
A private session may focus on yoga foundations, mobility and flexibility, strength, particular asanas, use of props, Yin, breathwork, or a combination depending on what you would like to explore.
Available in the studio in Batroun or online, by appointment.
Online Yoga
Live yoga sessions that allow you to practice from wherever you are, either in a private one-to-one setting or as part of a group.
Live yoga classes that allow you to practice from wherever you are, either individually or with others.
Classes may include Hatha, Yin, mobility-focused practice, or a combination depending on the class. The class structure is set in advance, with clear guidance and variations offered to support different levels of experience.
For a fully personalized practice based on your individual needs and objectives, private sessions are also available online.

The main space where we practice is a dedicated space in my home in Batroun, where regular classes and few workshops, and other sessions are held.
Mats and props are available, so you are welcome to simply arrive and practice. You can, of course, bring your own mat if you prefer.
